These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Pamoja Africa website (the “Site”) and any services you book through us. By using the Site or making a booking you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
The Site is intended for users aged 18 or older. If you are booking on behalf of minors, you confirm that you are legally responsible for them.
2. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, images, logos, graphics, video, and software — is owned by Pamoja Africa or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
3. Content “as is”
We try to keep the information on the Site accurate and current but it is provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Availability, pricing, itineraries, and wildlife encounters depend on factors outside our control and may change.
4. Bookings and payments
A booking is confirmed only once we issue a written confirmation and you have paid the required deposit. Balance payment terms are stated on each invoice. Unpaid balances beyond the due date may result in cancellation without refund.
5. Cancellations, changes & refunds
Cancellation and change fees depend on the property, activity, and lead time before travel. The exact policy is set out on your booking invoice. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical evacuation, and trip interruption.
6. Travel documents and health
You are responsible for passports, visas, permits, and any required vaccinations or medication. We can advise, but we do not guarantee entry into Tanzania or any other destination.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pamoja Africa is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in activities during your trip, including personal injury, loss, or damage caused by events beyond our control (force majeure, wildlife behaviour, weather, political events, strikes, or third-party failure). Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the affected booking.
8. User conduct
You agree not to misuse the Site, submit false or misleading information, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its normal operation.
9. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We do not control their content and accept no responsibility for their practices.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tanzania.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version, with a new effective date, will replace the current version on this page. Continued use after the change means you accept the revised terms.
